Isaiah says to us 30:19… How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. 20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. 21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
What a glorious reading. This season of engagement for Aust and I is so powerful. There is nothing like becoming so close to a best friend in the light of our Lord to bring out the holes in our beings. There is so much good in our lives and as of now, there is so much growth and adjustment happening as well. We continue to venture out, reflect, and praise all that we are grateful for.
I have personally gone through a time of healing. I have nursed a stress fracture in my foot back to strength; all in preparation for a distance hike that my father and I are doing in June. It has been a test of mental strength and happiness. Yesterday, I went on a hike with a loaded pack with no pain. Praise God!
Aust and I have ventured to both Oregon and Nevada to visit our families in this recent season of engagement. To celebrate this time has been a true blessing.
We have grown, had some great bike rides, fantastic fellowship, and experienced a deeper love and passion for one another and the sweet LORD; much deeper and greater than we could have ever imagined. All along the way, I am thankful for my film camera that captures some of our adventures to cherish for a lifetime. So much fun has been had with my two guys, Austin and Lucky. I cherish this life.
Have a great day in this spring shine. It is my wish that you all experience such peace and acceptance today for both your flaws and strengths. Cheers to being human and having the gift of love and friendship in our days. God bless you and you.
