In all this happiness my heart aches for the mountains.
How I wish I was waking to the birds again.
I love Boise, Idaho. I really do, however I left such a large part of my soul in the Sierra Nevadas from my time there with my father.
It has been quite the whirlwind of a summer. To think that the very man I walked 230 miles with in June is going to walk with me the 40 steps to hand me off to Austin in nine days when I become a wife, that is something special. What a bond I have with these men in my life. I am honored to be a wife. Honored to be a daughter. Honored to be a sister, friend, and granddaughter. I am honored to be a Christian, a follower of Christ and honored to be here in this very day.
How does one process all that goes on in a transition like this? Tears of joy and stress, dances of happiness and excitement, moments of stillness and sprint. It all is so precious. I am honored to feel these things.
Here is my heart, take all that I am, and I will be yours.
